About the Artist: The original painting was created by Katie Morrison, local artist and UK alumna, especially for first time donors to the university. Katie is a watercolor portrait artist from Greenup County, Kentucky. Through her business, Katlyn Ann Art, Katie has been painting clients beloved pets, homes and family members since 2018. She is the resident artist at local boutique House of Henry and has painted for quintessential Kentucky establishments such as Keeneland, Castle and Key and Buffalo Trace.
